Green sea turtles

Today, I read this article.  According to this, almost the entire green turtle population in parts of the northern Great Barrier Reef in Australia is now female. I was surprised that green turtles gender are determined by temperature. And because of climate change, most of green turtles in northern Great Barrier Reef are female and they are classified as endangered species.

I feel sorry for this. We may are not able to avoid global warming and climate change. But we can decrease those problems if we try to do everything we can. First, I want to know about everything which happens in the world.
